Botox FAQ
Depending whether you received Botox/Dyport treatments or dermal filler treatments. Treatment requires minimal downtime for Botox/Dysport, so you can return to your daily routine immediately after your treatment. With Dermal fillers, there can be some bruising and slight swelling following treatment so we recommend considering this when booking appointment.
Filler FAQ
You can usually expect anywhere from six months to two years, on average. Some may need to get their fillers topped off after six months, and others may be fine for longer.
One syringe distributed appropriately is usually the right amount for most people to start with because you get allover enhancement while still maintaining a natural appearance. Gradual plumping is key!
Hyaluronic acid is a gel that is injected into the skin to add volume to the lips, restore volume, and fill in wrinkles or folds. The syringe contains hyaluronic acid almost identical to that naturally found in the body. It is completely biologically degradable.
A small amount is injected directly into the skin to add volume. Hyaluronic Acid is naturally integrated into the tissue and allows for the free passage of important nutritive elements like oxygen and hormones. The product will also bind water, which adds to the filling effect.
Wrinkles and sagginess can be corrected using fillers to replenish the volume loss that comes with age. The most common areas are the cheeks, the nasolabial folds (from the wing of the nose to the angle of the mouth) and the lips, but many other sites may also be treated to achieve desired effect. The contours of the lips can be enhanced to the desired level by accentuating the vermillion border and giving the lips more volume.
Pain is very individualized and dependent on one’s tolerance to pain. We use a freezing ingredient so that discomfort is minimal.
